Artist Statement

A birthday portrait series created in December 2025 during the holiday season in Charlotte, NC. This project holds deep personal significance, as my mother was one of the first people to encourage me to formalize my photography practice and launch my website. During the session, prop concepts were developed spontaneously, later enhanced through digital compositing to incorporate balloons and a snow globe, completing the visual narrative.
