Artist Statement


This exhibition presents a series of self-portraits exploring identity, presence, and self-representation through image-making. Created in the months leading up to my first exhibition in New York, these works reflect both personal study and lived experience. Through self-portraiture, I explore the relationship between how we see ourselves and how we are seen by others.

Seeing these works installed in Monad marked a significant milestone in my creative practice, allowing these personal explorations to enter a shared space of connection, reflection, and artistic dialogue.
